Role Description
The Assistant Professor position at Sri Venkateswaraa Medcity involves teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in the medical field. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, supervising research projects, and contributing to departmental academic and administrative activities. The role also involves participating in research, publishing scholarly articles, and staying updated on advancements in the field to ensure high-quality education. This is a full-time on-site role based in Tiruvallur.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in teaching and mentoring in relevant medical or healthcare disciplines
- Experience in conducting and supervising academic research and publishing peer-reviewed journal articles
- Proficiency in delivering lectures and facilitating practical sessions effectively
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with using academic and research tools, as well as modern teaching methodologies
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent in the relevant subject, with a record of academic excellence
- Prior teaching or postdoctoral experience in a recognized medical institution is preferred
