Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at SKIT, located in Bengaluru. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, curriculum development, mentoring students, and engaging in active research and innovation. Additional responsibilities include organizing workshops, contributing to academic committees, and fostering industry relationships to enhance the learning ecosystem. The role also involves guiding students in practical learning sessions and aligning coursework with the latest industry and technological trends.

Qualifications

• Expertise in teaching key engineering subjects relevant to your field of specialization.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, curriculum development, and academic innovation.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to effectively guide diverse student groups.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or related fields.
• Experience with industry collaboration, including R&D projects and community engagement initiatives.
• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution. Teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and academic excellence.
