Job Description—Assistant Professor (Computer Science)
Organization: Rama University
Location: Kanpur
Rama University invites applications from qualified, passionate, and research-oriented candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science.
- Develop curriculum and learning resources aligned with the latest industry trends.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed journals/conferences.
- Mentor students for projects, internships, and research activities.
- Contribute to departmental administration, accreditation, and academic initiatives.
Educational Qualification:
- Mandatory: B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science (or relevant discipline).
- Preferred: Ph.D. in Computer Science or allied area.
- Candidates from eminent institutions will be given preference.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industry experience in a relevant domain.
Preferred Specializations:
- Data Science
- Machine Learning
- Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML)
- Cyber Security
- Cloud Computing
Required Skills:
- Strong conceptual knowledge in core computer science subjects.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Research aptitude with publications (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
