Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for an Assistant Professor at R06 Aerotech. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, developing comprehensive course materials, and mentoring students to enhance their academic achievements. Additional responsibilities include conducting research, engaging in curriculum development, participating in faculty meetings, and collaborating with colleagues to improve the academic programs. Instructors will also ensure students are prepared for real-world aviation challenges by providing practical and theoretical knowledge across aviation-related subjects.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Aviation Management, Flight Training, or Aircraft Maintenance
- Experience in curriculum development and education program design
- Strong presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to simplify technical information
- Research proficiency and ability to contribute to academic publications
- Strong interpersonal skills to mentor and support students
- Proficient in using modern teaching tools and technology in the classroom
- Master’s degree or higher in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Prior teaching experience and familiarity with aviation regulations and industry standards are a plus
