Role Description – Assistant Professor / Associate Professor
Assistant Professor – Design
We are seeking passionate and creative educators to join our academic team as Assistant Professors in the areas of Product Design, UI/UX Design, and Interior Design. The role involves mentoring students, delivering engaging studio-based learning experiences, guiding projects, and contributing to curriculum development and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, studio sessions, and practical workshops
- Mentor students in academic and portfolio development
- Guide design projects, prototypes, and research initiatives
- Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI tools into teaching
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation activities
- Participate in curriculum planning, assessments, and academic reviews
- Contribute to institutional branding, exhibitions, workshops, and industry interactions
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Design / Architecture / Related Discipline
- Specialization in Product Design, UI/UX Design, Interior Design, or relevant design fields
Preferred Skills
- Strong design portfolio and industry exposure
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
- Knowledge of AI-integrated creative workflows
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Research orientation and innovative teaching practices
- Experience in academic or industry projects preferred
Experience
- Assistant Professor: 1–5 years of teaching / industry experience
- Associate Professor: 5+ years of academic / professional experience with leadership and research exposure preferred
