Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor position at the Kerala Academy of Pharmacy, located in Trivandrum. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring and guiding students in their academic progress, preparing instructional materials, and assessing student performance. Additionally, the role involves participating in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and academic research initiatives. The Assistant Professor will also contribute to departmental activities and maintain an active involvement in the academic community.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy-related subjects and teaching methodologies
- Experience in curriculum development and academic research
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor students and collaborate with other faculty effectively
- Possession of a postgraduate degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) is required; a Ph.D. in Pharmacy or relevant field is preferred
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and tools
- Demonstrated passion for education and commitment to fostering a learning-focused environment
