Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor based in Jorhat, at Kakojan College. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, designing and delivering course materials, and contributing to academic collaboration. Additionally, the role includes student assessment, participation in faculty committees, and engaging in community and departmental activities to further the college's mission of academic and social development.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and subject matter expertise in relevant academic disciplines
- Proven research abilities, including conducting studies and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
- Effective communication, mentorship, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing and delivering engaging course content and assessments
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities for participation in departmental initiatives
- Proficiency with educational technologies and online teaching tools is an advantage
- A Doctoral or Master's degree in the relevant field is required
