Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role is based in Jalandhar and focuses on delivering high-quality academic instruction within the chosen subject area. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions aligned with curriculum requirements and learning outcomes. Responsibilities include developing course materials such as lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments that support online and blended learning environments. The role involves mentoring and advising learners, providing timely feedback on performance, and supporting their academic and professional growth. The Assistant Professor will also participate in academic planning, content development for e-learning modules, collaboration with internal teams on curriculum enhancement, and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant discipline (e.g., K6–K12, JEE Main, NEET, or higher education domains), with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrated experience in classroom or higher education teaching, including lesson planning, assessment design, and delivery of lectures or tutorials.
- Ability to create structured academic content, such as study materials, question banks, test papers, and solution sets aligned with standardized curricula.
- Comfort with e-learning tools and digital platforms, including preparation of video-based lessons, online assessments, and interactive learning materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a learner-centric approach and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses, batches, or projects simultaneously.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant subject from a recognized institution; a doctoral degree or equivalent research experience is an advantage.
- Prior experience in test preparation, online tutoring, or edtech/e-learning environments is preferred.
