Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor, located in Walajapet. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, preparing and delivering lectures, supervising student projects, evaluating assignments and examinations, and engaging in academic research. The role also involves mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and institutional responsibilities to support the college's mission.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise and teaching capabilities in relevant engineering or technology fields
• Effective communication and presentation skills for delivering lectures and mentoring students
• Experience in academic research and the ability to contribute to research projects or publish in academic journals
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and methods, including online teaching platforms
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student development
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
