Role Description
Amity University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor for its Ranchi campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, conducting research, mentoring students, and actively contributing to academic and co-curricular activities. They will be required to engage in faculty development initiatives, collaborate on research and educational projects, and participate in administrative tasks to ensure overall academic excellence. This is an on-site position that requires active participation in campus life to foster an engaging academic environment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D in CS/IT
- Thesis Submitted can also apply
- Strong teaching skills in academic instruction, curriculum development, and student mentorship
- Experience in conducting research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and fostering scholarly inquiry
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to deliver engaging lectures and academic content
- Organizational and administrative abilities for managing academic tasks, events, and departmental responsibilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative academic environment
- Previous teaching experience at the university level is an advantage
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning platforms is a plus
