Assistant Professor / Associate Professor/Professor – Forensic Science

Job Summary:
The faculty member in Forensic Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, Supervise PhD students conducting practical and laboratory sessions, guiding research projects, and contributing to academic, research, consultancy, and administrative activities of the department. The role also includes developing national and international collaborations, organizing workshops/seminars, consultancy services, and promoting innovation and industry interaction in forensic science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in various domains of forensic science.
- Prepare lesson plans, study material, assignments, and assessments.
- Supervise laboratory work, mock crime scene investigations, and field-based training.
- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, publications, and internships.
- Publish research papers, patents, book chapters, and participate in funded research projects.
- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, conferences, expert talks, and training programs.
- Develop national and international academic collaborations and MoUs with universities, forensic laboratories, industries, and law enforcement agencies.
- Coordinate international exchange programs, joint research activities, faculty/student mobility programs, and collaborative training initiatives.
- Provide consultancy services in forensic examination, crime scene investigation, forensic awareness, and expert guidance to government/private organizations.
- Promote industry-academia interaction and establish networking with forensic professionals and agencies.
- Assist in curriculum development, NAAC/NBA accreditation, admissions, and departmental activities.
- Support institutional development, outreach activities, and administrative responsibilities assigned by the university.
