Role Description
Amity University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Computer Science/Information Technology. In this full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, the selected candidate will engage in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and mentor students in academic and research activities. Responsibilities include conducting lectures, supervising research projects, publishing in reputed journals, and participating in departmental administrative functions. The role also involves fostering an interactive learning environment and staying updated with the latest advancements in computer science and IT.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Assistant Teaching and Education, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lectures.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, peers, and interdisciplinary teams effectively.
- Advanced knowledge in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Information Technology, with the ability to guide research and project development.
- Experience in working with students, including mentoring, advising, and providing support in both academic and research endeavors.
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Information Technology (Thesis Submitted candidates can also apply.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the field of computer science and IT is an advantage.
- Experience in publishing research papers in reputed journals is preferred.
