This is a broad, forward-looking role for someone who sits at the intersection of multiple emerging technology domains. You’ll teach subjects spanning SD, Programming, AI, Data Science, Statistics, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity — building both foundational understanding and practical skills in students. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to recycle old lecture slides; it’s for someone who tracks how these fields are evolving, translates that into the classroom, and builds research alongside it. With just 2 years of experience required, we’re also open to sharp early-career academics who have the depth and the drive.
JOB DECRIPTION FOR Assistant Professor — AI / ML / Data Science(8)
• Teach courses across AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity at UG and PG levels — with clarity, depth, and real-world relevance.
• Design and deliver lab sessions and hands-on workshops — Python-based data analysis, ML model building, statistical tools, blockchain simulations, and security labs.
• Guide B.Tech and M.Tech students on research projects, dissertations, and paper publications in your domain of specialisation.
• Actively pursue and publish research — target Scopus/SCI-indexed journals and present at IEEE/ACM/Springer conferences in AI, security, or blockchain.
• Contribute to department activities — curriculum design, lab development, and NBA/NAAC accreditation support as needed.
• Connect students with industry — facilitate guest lectures, case studies, certifications (AWS, Google, Coursera), and live project tie-ups in your domain.
• Stay ahead of the curve — continuously update course material to reflect the fast-moving landscape of AI, blockchain protocols, and cybersecurity threats.

• Teach programming subjects across UG and PG levels — Python, Core Java, Advanced Java, and React — with a strong focus on practical application and code quality.
• Design and run programming labs — build assignments, mini-projects, and coding exercises that go beyond textbook problems.
• Mentor students on capstone projects, software development competitions, hackathons, and open-source contributions.
• Stay current with evolving tech stacks — continuously update course content to reflect what the industry is actually hiring for.
• Contribute to department-level academic work — syllabus design, lab setup, timetabling, and NBA/NAAC accreditation documentation.
• Pursue research in software engineering, programming languages, or adjacent domains — publish, present, and build your academic profile.
• Bridge the gap between academia and industry — bring guest lectures, live projects, and real-world problem statements into the classroom.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must Have
✔ M.Tech in CS / IT / Data Science / Information Security or a closely related field — PhD completed or actively pursuing.
✔ Minimum 2 years of teaching or industry experience in one or more of the following: AI/ML, Data Science, Statistics, Blockchain, or Cybersecurity.
✔ Strong foundational knowledge in Statistics and its application to Data Science — probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, regression.
✔ Hands-on experience in at least one primary domain — AI/ML model development, blockchain protocols and DApps, or network security and cryptography.
✔ Ability to teach across interdisciplinary subjects and design course materials, assessments, and labs independently.
Nice to Have
• Published research in Scopus/SCI journals or papers at IEEE/ACM conferences in AI, data science, blockchain, or security domains.
• Industry certifications in relevant areas — CEH, CISSP, AWS ML Specialty, Google Data Engineer, or Ethereum/Solidity development.
• Experience with real-world blockchain platforms — Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Solana — and smart contract development.
• Prior involvement in NBA/NAAC accreditation, NPTEL content development, or EdTech course creation.
