Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Production Manager (Upstream & Downstream) located in Vadodara. The Assistant Production Manager will oversee and manage upstream and downstream production processes, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising fermentation and purification processes, coordinating production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting production issues, and drafting reports to improve overall efficiency and consistency in manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in production processes related to fermentation and downstream operations
- Proficiency in quality control and adherence to regulatory compliance standards
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and project management abilities
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for optimizing manufacturing processes
- Knowledge in using industrial equipment and technology relevant to biotech production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
- Experience in handling microbial fermentation processes is highly desirable
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
