About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Production Manager – Facade to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of facade production activities. You will lead a team of Production Engineers, who in turn supervise the shop floor workforce including supervisors, fabricators, operators, and helpers. Your focus will be on achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, ensuring timely delivery, and continuously improving shop floor productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and executing daily and weekly production plans aligned with project priorities and delivery schedules, while ensuring that Production Engineers and their teams are effectively deployed across fabrication, assembly, glazing, and dispatch activities.
- Lead and manage a team of Production Engineers, who in turn supervise production supervisors, fabricators, machine operators, and helper teams, ensuring clear role clarity and accountability at every level.
- Monitor production progress through regular reviews with Production Engineers, identify bottlenecks, and take proactive corrective actions to ensure timely completion of all planned activities.
- Supervise end-to-end production activities for Unitized Façade Systems, Semi-Unitized Systems, Stick Curtain Wall Systems, Aluminium Doors & Windows, and ACP Cladding Systems, ensuring that Production Engineers maintain adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure that all fabrication and assembly activities carried out by the production teams are strictly as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards, with Production Engineers held accountable for first-level quality checks.
- Coordinate smoothly between different production sections including cutting, machining, assembly, glazing, and packing, and ensure that Production Engineers facilitate uninterrupted workflow across their respective sections.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day shop floor operational issues promptly by guiding Production Engineers, escalating when necessary, and ensuring that production momentum is not compromised.
- Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure quality compliance, conduct in-process inspections through Production Engineers, and drive reduction in rejection, rework, and material wastage across all production levels.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure that all shop floor personnel including Production Engineers, supervisors, fabricators, operators, and helpers use required PPE, while promoting a disciplined and safety-first work culture throughout the reporting hierarchy.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Stores, Procurement, Maintenance, and Projects departments, and prepare daily production reports, manpower updates, and progress reports for management review, ensuring that Production Engineers provide accurate inputs from their respective sections.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
Experience Required
- 10 -12 years in façade manufacturing, aluminium systems production, or architectural metal fabrication
- Experience handling production teams through Production Engineers or similar supervisory roles is preferred
