Role Description
As an Assistant Procurement Manager, you will oversee procurement processes, manage supplier evaluation, and engage in effective contract negotiation. Your daily responsibilities will include identifying and partnering with reliable suppliers, evaluating procurement needs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-efficient procurement practices. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru, India.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and strong abilities to assess supplier capabilities and performance.
- Experience in Contract Negotiation to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and compliance with organizational objectives.
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, pricing, and market trends for effective decision-making.
- Knowledge and experience in Procurement processes and strategies for inventory control and sourcing.
- Expertise in Contract Management to administer and monitor contractual agreements and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced on-site environment.
- Relevant educational qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with the tiles or construction materials industry is a plus.
