Role Description The Assistant Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru at Kangaroo Kids Dooravani Nagar. This position supports the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities, guiding children through age-appropriate lessons, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson delivery, supervising play and learning centers, supporting social and emotional development, and helping children with routines such as meals and hygiene. The Assistant Teacher will prepare and organize learning materials, help set up and clean classroom spaces, and participate in school events and parent communications as needed. The role involves close collaboration with the teaching team to ensure a positive, engaging, and inclusive preschool experience for every child.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and experience working with preschool or Kindergarten-age children. ( MANDATORY) do not apply if you do not
have a certificate in ECC.
- Ability to assist with Lesson Planning and support Curriculum Development under guidance from the lead teacher.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach to classroom management and care.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education or Preschool Teaching (preferred).
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Bengaluru and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic skills in organizing classroom materials, ensuring safety, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to participate in training, follow school policies, and uphold a safe, inclusive learning environment.
