Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur for an Assistant Payroll Manager. The Assistant Payroll Manager will oversee payroll administration activities, maintain compliance with payroll tax regulations, manage garnishments, and ensure correct and timely processing of payroll. The role will also involve handling employee benefits and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management
- Proficiency in managing payroll and income tax workings, with an understanding of related regulations
- Strong expertise in administering and managing Employee Benefits
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy work environment
- Prior experience in payroll systems and related software platforms
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in managing payroll within a large or rapidly growing organization is a plus
