Role Overview
We are looking for a high-accountability, field-facing leader to join our Bangalore operations. As Assistant Operations Manager, you will own the full vendor lifecycle—from acquisition to financial collections. Supported by a team of Relationship Managers, you will be responsible for driving fleet growth, ensuring vehicle utilization, and maintaining strict operational discipline in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Growth & Acquisition: Drive net fleet growth by converting leads and ensuring seamless onboarding and vehicle activation.
- Attrition Control: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on vendor drop-offs and proactively implement retention strategies for at-risk partners.
- Collections & Finance: Own the collections targets for your area, tracking overdue accounts and maintaining overall financial hygiene.
- Utilization & Performance: Monitor on-road vehicle counts, identify underperforming assets, and coordinate with vendors to maximize fleet utilization.
- Team Management: Guide and manage a ground team of Relationship Managers (RMs), conducting field accompaniments and reviewing daily targets.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–7 years in Field Operations, Vendor Management, or Mobility/Logistics.
- Language: Fluency in Kannada is mandatory. Additionally, proficiency in at least one of these is required: Tamil, Malayalam, or Hindi.
- Leadership: Experience managing ground-level teams and taking full ownership of area-level KPIs.
- Grit: Comfortable with daily field visits, vendor negotiations, and high-pressure collection targets.
- Data Orientation: Ability to analyze trackers, flag operational anomalies, and present structured updates to leadership.
