Role Description The Assistant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role supports the day-to-day management of operational teams, including monitoring performance, ensuring adherence to processes, and maintaining service quality levels. The Assistant Operations Manager will help plan staffing, coordinate schedules, and optimize workflows to meet client service level agreements and productivity targets. Responsibilities include tracking key operational metrics, preparing reports, identifying process improvements, and assisting with implementation of best practices. The role also involves supporting team leads, handling escalations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to training and development initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management and process coordination skills, with experience in managing day-to-day service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability in performance monitoring, data analysis, and reporting, including comfort with operational dashboards and basic productivity metrics.
- Effective team leadership and people management skills, including mentoring, conflict resolution, and supporting staff development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage client or internal stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or workflow tools) and readiness to learn new systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in BPO, shared services, or a similar operations environment is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South with flexibility to align with business needs and shift requirements.
