Role Purpose: The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting and streamlining day-to-day business operations across production, inventory, logistics, dispatch, vendor coordination, and internal process management. The role requires strong execution skills, operational coordination, and the ability to manage workflows efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily operational activities to ensure smooth business functioning
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, dispatch, and procurement teams for efficient workflow management
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning and replenishment processes
- Ensure timely processing and dispatch of orders
- Coordinate with logistics partners and delivery teams to maintain operational efficiency
- Maintain operational records, reports, invoices, and documentation accurately
- Support vendor coordination, procurement follow-ups, and supply chain activities
- Identify operational bottlenecks and assist in implementing process improvements
- Work closely with sales and accounts teams for smooth order execution and coordination
- Ensure timely follow-ups and resolution of operational issues
- Assist management with operational planning, reporting, and execution strategies
- Maintain quality, compliance, and service standards across operational processes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, FMCG, manufacturing, or related industries
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and handling operational workflows
- Familiarity with inventory management and dispatch coordination preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally and operational reporting tools
