- Manpower Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with supervisors and departments to understand daily manpower requirements.
- Support timely deployment of manpower to ensure smooth shop floor operations.
- Maintain basic manpower data and assist in workforce tracking.
Operational Excellence Support
- Support implementation of Operational Excellence initiatives on the shop floor.
- Track daily manpower utilization, absenteeism, and basic productivity data.
- Assist in identifying gaps and escalating issues related to manpower or process inefficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace discipline.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization.
Attendance Management
- Monitor daily attendance and highlight absenteeism to supervisors.
- Follow up with employees on attendance-related issues.
- Support initiatives to improve attendance and discipline on the shop floor.
Payroll Coordination & Record Keeping
- Ensure accurate and timely attendance data entry and closure.
- Share required inputs with the payroll team within timelines.
- Maintain employee records and ensure documents are updated and organized.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for shop floor employees for basic queries and support.
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment.
- Support senior team members in handling grievances and disciplinary actions.
Welfare & Workplace Management
- Ensure basic welfare facilities (drinking water, restrooms, etc.) are available and maintained.
- Support housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Report any safety concerns or issues to the concerned team.
Compliance Support
- Maintain statutory records and ensure they are readily available for audits.
- Assist during inspections by coordinating documents and information.
- Support compliance activities related to labor laws and factory requirements.
Committee Coordination
- Assist in organizing committee meetings (canteen, safety, etc.).
- Track and follow up on action points from meetings.
Canteen & Hygiene Monitoring
- Monitor canteen operations for cleanliness and basic service quality.
- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained across facilities.
- BLM, MLM, MSW, or MBA with 3-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry.
- PGDPM with 2-5 years of experience can also apply.
- Experience in liaison with DISH, ESI, EPF officials is preferable.
- Proficiency in SPINE or any other HRMS software.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong report preparation, presentation, and analytical skills are essential.
