- Valuation analysis: Perform valuation analysis on a variety of business, InvITs, ESOPs, OCD, investments, including private capital, venture capital, and private debt
- Financial modelling: Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market transaction, market multiple, and option pricing analysis
- Research: Research clients, industries, competitors, and markets on reputed database like Capital IQ, Private Circle etc.
- Presentation: Prepare and present analysis results in a clear and concise manner
- Reporting: Write valuation reports and present analyses and conclusions
- Proposals: Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and publications
- Client relationships: Work with management to build and maintain client relationships
- Engagement letters: Identify and communicate potential engagements to management and write engagement letters
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits, if required, at various places including infrastructure sites, etc.
- Documentations: Correctly documenting the work performed, important files, etc

- Accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills
- Knowledge on important accounting standards:
- Fair Value Measurement,
- Business Combinations,
- Impairment Testing,
- Financial Instruments,
- Consolidation Accounting,
- Deferred Tax,
- Other important standards
- Knowledge on important valuation related concepts:
- Discounting Factor, CAPM, Beta, Present Value of Cash Flows, DCF Method, etc.
- Valuation Approaches,
- Requirement of Valuation as per current rules and laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
- Strong attention to detail, conscientious and ability to prioritise work.
- Critical thinking, strong reasoning ability, sense of logic
- Knowledge of conducting open ended secondary research to garner industry specific insights
- Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
