Designation
Assistant Manager- Legal
Location:
Mumbai-BKC
Key Responsibilities Include
Contract Drafting, Negotiation, and Management
- Provide legal support for procurement contracts, RFPs, and commercial agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts
- Offer legal interpretation and preliminary dispute support before litigation handover
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as primary legal contact for Commercial and Procurement teams
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive contract closures
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strategic Legal Support
- Review vendor contracts and provide flow-down terms for commercial counsels working on customer-facing services schedules/documents (NPI process )
Training and Knowledge Sharing
- Create training material and update best practice documentation and templates
- Draft Letters of Undertaking, LOAs, MOUs, etc.
Specialized Legal Support
- Handle transactions/contracts such as joint provisioning, voice, Enterprise, Carrier, MOVE, IOT etc.
- Support internal teams (e.g., Finance, HR) on a case-by-case basis
- Create presentations, maintain trackers, and provide MIS support
Risk and Compliance
- Proactively manage legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
Interface with other legal teams including compliance, regulatory, and litigation
Basic Requisites
Education
LLB (or equivalent) with Bar admission in at least one jurisdiction
Experience
3-6 years post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, and contract law
Exposure to domestic and international legal environments
Experience In Telecommunications Or Technology Sectors Preferred
