Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur for an Assistant Merchandiser. The Assistant Merchandiser will support product development, manage vendor communications, track production timelines, and assist in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities include identifying market trends, assisting with inventory planning, analyzing sales data, and coordinating with sales and marketing teams to meet business objectives. Close collaboration with design and manufacturing teams is required to maintain quality standards and drive customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively coordinate with vendors, clients and internal teams
- Apparel design understanding to support product conceptualization and development
- Knowledge of Sales and Retail operations to support inventory planning, productions and trend analysis
- Understanding of basic Marketing concepts to collaborate with teams on brand-building initiatives
- Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with merchandising software/tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or a related role is an added advantage
