Assistant Merchandiser
Place of work -
· DLF Industrial Estate Phase – 1, Faridabad
· Okhla Phase 1, New Delhi
Roles & Responsibilities -
· To assist Senior Merchandiser in pre-production and production activities.
Desired Candidate Profile -
· Gender – Male/Female
· Work Experience - Minimum 3-5 years
· Experience - Woven Ladies wear & Value-added casual styles for Premium European Brands
· Qualification – Minimum Graduate/Diploma in Fashion/Merchandising/Textiles
Required Skills -
- Strong understanding of the sampling process, including interpretation of tech packs, sample execution, adherence to timelines, and CAD consumption/average calculations.
- Knowledge of pre-production activities such as ERP entries, trim ordering, and coordination of all pre-production requirements- like CAD, Embroidery, printing etc.
- Technical understanding of garment construction, fits, specification sheets, and ability to coordinate effectively with pattern masters and production teams.
- Experience in handling branding and wash care orders, preparation of production files, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Good understanding of Time & Action (T&A) planning, critical path management, and the importance of cut dates and delivery timelines.
- Ability to coordinate seamlessly between sampling, stores, and production teams for PP samples, fit comments, approvals, and internal follow-ups.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates residing nearby will be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills, including teamwork, coordination, attention to detail, and active listening abilities.
