Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Merchandiser role based in Surat. The Assistant Merchandiser will be responsible for supporting merchandising operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, and assisting in the product lifecycle from conception to delivery. Additional responsibilities include communication with vendors and providing support to ensure product alignment with the brand's vision and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
- Basic Sales and Retail knowledge to support product planning and inventory management.
- Understanding of Marketing strategies to assist in aligning products with market trends and target audiences.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in software tools related to merchandising and retail management is an advantage.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field is preferred but not required.
