About the roleThis is a senior individual contributor role with a dual mandate covering performance marketing and creative leadership. The selected candidate will take complete ownership of the company's online marketing function spanning Amazon AMS, Flipkart Ads, SEO, paid social, and brand creative direction. The role offers high autonomy with direct reporting to the founders, and is well suited for a self-driven professional who is equally comfortable with data-driven performance work and brand building. This is not a coordination or agency management role. The candidate is expected to be deeply hands-on across all areas from day one.
Key responsibilitiesAmazon Advertising (AMS)This is a primary focus area. The candidate will be solely responsible for setting up, managing, and optimising all Amazon.in ad campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP. Day-to-day responsibilities will include search term harvesting, negative keyword management, bid strategy, placement multiplier adjustments, and dayparting to ensure efficient spend at all times. The candidate will also own the Amazon Brand Store design and A+ Content strategy, ensure all product listings are fully optimised for discoverability and conversion, and manage the campaign architecture to support new product launches and seasonal peaks. Weekly performance reviews covering TACoS, ACoS, NTB metrics, and category share trends will be presented to the leadership team on a regular basis.
Flipkart AdsThis is equally a primary focus area. The candidate will manage the full catalogue across Flipkart PLA and brand solutions end-to-end. This includes building well-structured campaign hierarchies, defining and refining bidding strategies, and maintaining promotional calendars aligned to high-traffic events such as Big Billion Days and other key sale periods. The candidate will regularly mine Flipkart Seller Hub data to identify visibility gaps, low-converting ASINs, and pricing misalignments. Close coordination with the category team on content quality, pricing competitiveness, and ad relevance scores will be a regular part of the role. The candidate is also expected to identify emerging opportunities on Flipkart and propose strategies proactively rather than waiting for direction.
SEO and website marketingThe candidate will develop and execute comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies across the company's WordPress and Shopify properties. This covers end-to-end keyword research, competitive gap analysis, technical SEO audits, page speed improvements, and Core Web Vitals monitoring. The candidate will plan and manage content calendars aligned to search intent, brief and oversee the production of blogs, landing pages, and product copy, and coordinate with developers for technical fixes. Monthly reporting on organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, and goal conversions using Google Search Console and Ahrefs or SEMrush is expected. The candidate should be able to independently identify SEO opportunities and execute on them without requiring external consultants for routine work.
Social media marketingThe candidate will own both the strategy and execution of organic and paid social activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms. On the paid side, this includes end-to-end campaign management covering budget planning, audience targeting, creative testing, and ROAS optimisation. The candidate will coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for performance creative, maintain a platform-specific content calendar, and continuously update playbooks in response to algorithm and platform policy changes. A good understanding of what content performs on each platform, and the ability to adapt messaging accordingly, will be critical to success in this area.
Creative directionThe candidate will serve as the Creative Director for all social media and brand content output. This means defining and maintaining the visual identity, brand tone of voice, and content pillars across all platforms. The candidate will brief designers and video editors, review and approve all assets including statics, reels, short-form videos, stories, and carousels, and ideate culturally relevant campaigns and trend-led content moments suited to the Indian gaming audience. Brand consistency must be ensured across every touchpoint, from Amazon listings and Flipkart brand pages to Instagram grids and WhatsApp campaigns. The candidate should have a sharp sense of what resonates with gaming communities in India and be able to translate that into compelling creative output consistently.
Analytics and reportingThe candidate will build and maintain a unified marketing dashboard that consolidates web, social, and marketplace performance into a single view for leadership. Monthly and quarterly business reviews will be presented with clear insights, honest assessments, and forward-looking plans. The candidate will also drive attribution modelling efforts to connect top-of-funnel brand activity to actual marketplace and website revenue outcomes, and will proactively flag performance issues before they become larger problems.
Required qualifications and skillsExperienceMinimum 5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience is required. Candidates with an e-commerce-focused background will be strongly preferred. A demonstrated track record of managing Amazon AMS with measurable ACoS improvement and ROAS growth is mandatory, as is proven and quantifiable experience running Flipkart Ads campaigns. Candidates who cannot provide concrete performance data from past roles will not be considered for this position. Prior experience managing SEO and paid social for a WordPress or Shopify business is essential.

The candidate must be highly organised, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously without requiring close supervision.
Preferred qualificationsExperience with Amazon Brand Registry, Vine, or FBA-specific advertising. Familiarity with Meesho Ads or quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, or Swiggy Instamart. Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, or Figma for creative briefs. Experience managing influencer marketing and UGC campaigns. Exposure to Google Performance Max or programmatic advertising. Prior experience in a startup or D2C brand environment will be viewed very favourably.
