About the Role
We are looking for an analytical and insight-driven marketer with mandatory experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry to support our New Initiatives function. The primary responsibility of this role will be identifying market opportunities through structured market research, category analysis, consumer understanding, and competitive intelligence.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in evaluating trends, studying consumer behavior, and translating research findings into actionable business opportunities within the Alco-bev industry.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct in-depth market research across the Alco-bev industry to identify emerging trends, category shifts, and growth opportunities.
- Track and analyze market developments across spirits, beer, wine, RTD, premiumization trends, and adjacent categories.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and unmet consumer needs through research and market intelligence.
- Monitor competitor activity including product launches, pricing, portfolio expansion, packaging innovation, and market positioning.
- Gather insights from secondary research reports, industry sources, consumer feedback, and market data.
Category & Consumer Insights
- Develop strong category understanding and identify growth drivers within the Alco-bev ecosystem.
- Analyze consumer behavior, purchase patterns, and consumption trends.
- Build market opportunity assessments by evaluating category attractiveness, market size, growth potential, and business viability.
- Convert insights into structured recommendations to support innovation and business growth initiatives.
Strategic Business Support
- Present research findings and business recommendations through insight-led presentations and reports.
- Support leadership in evaluating new product categories, expansion opportunities, and innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D, and cross-functional teams to align market insights with business priorities.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide fact-based recommendations for business decisions.
- Ensure timely execution and communication of key market insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of experience in Alco-bev industry is mandatory (non-negotiable).
- Experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, Category Marketing, New Initiatives, Strategy, or Brand roles within Alco-bev.
- Strong understanding of alcohol categories including spirits, beer, wine, premium brands, and consumer trends.
- Proven experience in market analysis, competitor intelligence, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to convert data and research findings into business recommendations.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
