About the Career Development Office
The Career Development Office plays a critical role in supporting students in identifying their aspirations and exploring meaningful career pathways. The office aims to provide students with adequate exposure to industry opportunities, professional environments, and experiential learning initiatives to supplement the core academic experience central to the UG degree programme.
The team works closely with students to help them prepare for their professional journeys and achieve their long-term career goals, and to enrich the academic experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support Experiential Learning & Industry Engagement
- Support the planning and execution of industry engagement initiatives
- Support the development of internship and placement opportunities aligned with student aspirations and programme objectives
- Support programme logistics, communication, scheduling, and engagement tracking
2. Academic & Pedagogical Support
Serve as an Academic Associate (AA) to faculty teaching corporate sector courses for a period of three months, providing classroom facilitation, documentation, and student engagement support to strengthen the integration of academic learning with industry practice.
- Assist in tracking student participation, reflections, learning outcomes, and evaluations
- Coordinate with corporate partners, faculty members, and students to ensure smooth implementation of experiential learning activities
- Work closely with faculty members during industry immersion courses and related academic initiatives
- Contribute to course documentation, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement processes
Who is the Ideal Candidate
- Has 2–4 years of professional experience in the corporate sector and is eager to bring that exposure into an academic environment.
- Possesses a keen interest in higher education and academic development, with a long-term aspiration to pursue advanced studies.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work closely with students, faculty, and industry stakeholders.
- Is motivated to contribute to building a future-ready career development ecosystem, blending corporate insights with academic rigour.
