We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to join our Business Development – PSU team and drive growth across Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Government accounts in the West region.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated PSU Sales professional responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities with Government departments and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
The role involves handling the complete sales lifecycle including prospecting, tender management, proposal submission, negotiation, project coordination, and payment collection. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Government/PSU sales, tendering processes, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop opportunities across PSU and Government accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Drive territory penetration and account expansion.
Tender & Bid Management
- Monitor GeM and other e-tendering portals for relevant opportunities.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids.
- Ensure compliance with all bid requirements and documentation.
Key Account Management
- Manage relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
- Understand customer expansion plans and future business requirements.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions.
Sales & Market Strategy
- Execute territory-wise sales and channel expansion strategies.
- Gather and analyze competitor and market intelligence.
- Support value-based and consultative selling initiatives.
Commercial & Project Coordination
- Coordinate internally with technical and product teams.
- Manage EMD, PBG, and commercial documentation.
- Ensure timely payment collections and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Industry Exposure
Candidates with exposure to the following sectors will be preferred:

Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Degree in Engineering (Preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Environment, Health & Safety).
- MBA / PGDBM in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of sales experience.
- Minimum 3 years handling Government / PSU accounts.
- Experience with GeM portal and e-tendering processes.
- Exposure to channel management and expansion preferred.
- Proven experience in B2B / Government sales environments.
