Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

About the Role
We are looking for a driven Supply Chain professional to manage end-to-end procurement and supply operations. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory planning, cost optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless supply continuity and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations within manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, or B2B sectors
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and supplier negotiations
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and procurement lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and MIS reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Willingness to travel across India as required
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers through techno-commercial assessments
- Lead supplier negotiations, annual contracts, and cost optimization initiatives
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition to invoice reconciliation
- Drive inventory planning across multiple locations and improve stock efficiency
- Ensure quality compliance, documentation, and supplier performance management
- Collaborate with Production, Sales, Finance, Quality, and R&D teams to support business requirements
- Support new product launches by ensuring procurement readiness and supply continuity
