About the Role:
RSM in Kuwait is seeking qualified IFRS professionals to join our advisory team supporting IFRS 18 readiness and implementation engagements. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact projects for clients across multiple sectors, delivering value through technical expertise and strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct IFRS research and support the implementation of IFRS 18 and other standards.
- Assist in preparing technical guidance, disclosure frameworks, and financial statement design for client engagements.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to review policies, chart of accounts, and reporting packs.
- Support transition planning, training materials, and quality control for IFRS compliance projects.
- Contribute to client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to technical standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong IFRS research and implementation capabilities; prior exposure in IFRS advisory roles.
- Preferably Big 4 experience.
- Assistant Manager: 7–8 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Associate: 3–4 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth understanding of IFRS 18 and other IFRS standards.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and financial analysis.
