Role Description The Assistant Manager Sales / Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bilaspur. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing corporate and leisure accounts, and meeting revenue targets for rooms, events, and other hotel services. Daily tasks include conducting sales calls and client visits, preparing proposals and contracts, maintaining accurate sales reports, and coordinating with the operations and front office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. The role also involves participating in local networking events, supporting marketing initiatives, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring that all sales activities align with brand standards and hotel objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convert leads into long-term accounts.
- 1–5 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a service-oriented industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, and use basic MS Office tools and hotel sales/CRM systems.
- Proactive, target-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required by business needs.
