Job Description – Assistant Manager- Sales & Marketing- Tamil Nadu

Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing Tamil Nadu will be responsible for driving sales and revenue collection across Tamil Nadu in both B2B and B2C segments. The role involves converting company-generated B2C leads, developing B2B business through multiple channels, coordinating with the CRM Manager for quotations and project designs, tracking sales and collection progress, and reporting regularly to the Branch Sales Manager. Sales closures and collection follow-ups will be carried out under the guidance and support of the Branch Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. B2B Sales & Channel Development
· Drive business through multiple B2B channels, including:
o Channel Partners & Dealers
o Corporate Clients (private companies and business groups)
o Institutions (schools, colleges, universities, academies)
o Government Projects (municipal corporations, sports authorities, public sector units)
o Builders & Contractors (real estate developers and project contractors)
o Consultants & Architects (project specifications and design influence)
o Sports Clubs & Fitness Centers (clubs, gyms, academies, event organizers)
· Prospect and acquire new B2B clients across Tamil Nadu.
· Achieve assigned B2B sales targets with closure support from the Branch Sales Manager.
2. B2C Sales (Company-Generated Leads)
· Follow up on company-generated leads and nurture prospects toward successful conversion.
· Coordinate with the Branch Sales Manager to close B2C sales.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to generate referrals and repeat business.
3. Quotations & Project Designs
· Coordinate with the CRM Manager for preparation of quotations and project designs.
· Present proposals to clients, address queries, and assist in negotiations under the guidance of the Branch Sales Manager.
· Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all proposals.
4. Collections & Revenue Tracking
· Follow up on pending payments and collections from B2B and B2C clients under the guidance of the Branch Sales Manager.
· Ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues while maintaining positive client relationships.
· Track collections against targets and report progress regularly to the Branch Sales Manager.
5. CRM & Lead Monitoring
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
· Monitor pipeline status, conversion ratios, and collection progress.
· Generate periodic sales and collection reports for the Branch Sales Manager.
6. Branch & Team Support
· Support branch-level sales initiatives and collaborate with internal teams to achieve overall targets.
· Mentor and guide junior team members as required.
7. Reporting & Market Insights
· Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales and collection performance to the Branch Sales Manager.
· Share insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback in Tamil nadu.
· Escalate challenges related to sales or collections to the Branch Sales Manager for guidance and resolution.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Achievement of individual and branch sales targets (B2B & B2C).
· Timely achievement of collection targets.
· Conversion of company-generated B2C leads.
· Expansion and performance of B2B channels and partnerships.
· Timely and accurate preparation of quotations (in coordination with CRM Manager).
· Accuracy and regular updates of data in the CRM system.
