Responsibilities
- Business Development:-
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for CFS services.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service requirements.
- Provide timely updates and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Sales & Negotiation:
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
- Negotiate rates and terms to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
- Provide feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
- Coordination:
- Work closely with operations, documentation, and billing teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and other stakeholders for service delivery
Performance Metrics
- Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
- Customer acquisition and retention.
- Market share expansion in assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years in sales within CFS, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
- Familiarity with EDI systems and shipping line coordination is an advantage.
