For our client engaged in manufacturing Castings and Forgings with plants in India and UAE, we are looking for Assistant Manager PPC based at PUNE, [MH], India.
Assistant Manager Purchase (Buyer):
Experience: 8 - 10 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely procurement of materials at the right price, quality, and quantity
- Handle sourcing and purchasing of:
- Raw materials
- Cutting tools and consumables
- Outsourced machined / surface-finished components
- Other production-related items
- Develop and manage vendor base and relationships
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted production supply
Key Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of engineering materials and machining requirements
- Cost analysis and procurement planning expertise
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems
