We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Prepress with 10+ years of experience in packaging prepress operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in artwork handling, repro processes, and print-ready file preparation, along with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with global customers.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing prepress team.
• Drive efficiency, innovation, and best practices within the prepress workflow.
• Manage workload distribution, performance evaluations, and upskilling initiatives.

Packaging Prepress Operations

• Oversee artwork to print-ready file creation for global packaging customers.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with print specifications.
• Optimize workflows for artwork, trapping, step & repeat, color separation, and proofing.

Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance

• Implement color management strategies for various print technologies (Offset, Flexo, Gravure, Digital).
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and print feasibility.
• Conduct prepress quality checks and troubleshoot artwork & print-related issues.

Customer Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with brand teams, and internal stakeholders to meet expectations.
• Provide expert guidance on packaging prepress challenges and technical solutions.
• Drive process enhancements to improve efficiency and turnaround time.

Innovation & Process Improvements

• Stay updated on prepress technology advancements, automation tools, and industry trends.
• Implement automation & AI-based solutions to enhance production speed and accuracy.
• Evaluate and onboard new prepress software, tools, and best practices.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required:

• Expertise in Packaging Prepress – Strong understanding of artwork, repro, color management, and print processes.
• Software Proficiency – Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Esko Deskpack, ArtPro, PackZ, GMG ColorProof, and automation tools.
• Print Production Knowledge – Familiarity with Offset, Flexo, Gravure, and Digital Printing techniques.
• Prepress Quality Assurance – Ability to identify and resolve print-related issues.
• Workflow Optimization – Experience in automating prepress tasks to improve efficiency.
• Customer-Centric Approach – Ability to manage global clients and ensure smooth project execution.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or related field
