Job details:
The Role
You own strategic projects and analytical models for logistics operations across 3 brands, 10 courier partners, 10 warehouses, 20-30K orders/day. You sit parallel to the Ops Manager — they run the daily engine, you improve it.
If the data models underperform or an AOP initiative slips, that’s on you. This is high-ownership, not consulting.
What You’ll Do
• Drive 10-15 AOP initiatives end-to-end — process redesign, cost optimization, new capability builds (co-owned with business teams, you drive ops side)
• Build and maintain data driven operational models (like courier allocation, order mapping, EDD etc). Recalibrate monthly, backtest before deployment.
• Weekly RTO trend analysis, monthly deep dives — rate vs mix decomposition, maturity-adjusted cohorts,courier/zone/brand/WH attribution, driver analysis
• Cross-functional coordination with Tech (APIs, webhooks, control tower), CX, Finance, Brand teams to unblock initiatives
• Define reporting dashboard specs (MIS/analytics team builds). Validate data accuracy and business logic.
• Sit in weekly ops reviews, challenge performance gaps with data. Review KAM data for commercial opportunities.
• Build business cases for new investments — tools, partners, headcount, process changes
Must Have
• 2–5 years in operations, supply chain, or logistics analytics at a D2C / e-commerce marketplace. You’ve
seen 10K+ orders/day.
• Strong Python (pandas, data analysis, ) or SQL. You can build a model, not just read a dashboard.
• Run cross-functional projects end-to-end — scoping, stakeholder alignment, execution, impact
measurement.
• Comfortable with ambiguity. Half the AOP is directional. You figure out the “how.”
• Can challenge a room with data without making enemies.
Good to Have
Last mile supply chain analytics experience, Strategy Mindset. Looker/Metabase familiarity.
