Responsibilities
- Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, steam generation, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure smooth start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling of boiler systems.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain auxiliary equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, fans, economizers, and heat exchangers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate overhauls, annual shutdown activities, and repairs.
- Maintain boiler logs, maintenance records, inspection reports, and SOPs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and auditors.
Qualifications
- 3–10 years of experience (depending on level) in boiler operations and mechanical maintenance
- Experience in industrial plants, utilities, power plants, or heavy manufacturing preferred\
- BE/BTech in Mechanical
