Job Title: Asst Manager ? Operations (NAPS)

Role Summary:
The Assistant Manager ? Operations (NAPS) will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end apprenticeship operations under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) for clients of Ciel HR. The role focuses on seamless execution, compliance, stakeholder management, and scaling apprenticeship programs across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program & Client Management
- Manage NAPS operations for multiple clients across industries
- Ensure smooth onboarding, deployment, and lifecycle management of apprentices
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all operational matters
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive new client acquisition, build and strengthen relationships, ensure robust SLA and governance frameworks, and deliver consistently to enable sustainable business growth
2. Compliance & Portal Management
- Ensure adherence to NAPS guidelines and statutory requirements
- Manage apprentice registration, contracts, and updates on NAPS portal
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance records
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, training partners, and internal recruitment teams
- Liaise with government bodies and sector skill councils when required
- Resolve operational issues and ensure high client satisfaction
4. Operations Excellence
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround time
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and ensure timely delivery
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team handling NAPS operations
- Train team members on processes, compliance, and client handling
- Ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to timelines
6. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and share MIS reports, dashboards, and insights with leadership
- Track apprentice data, billing, payouts, and compliance metrics
- Support decision-making through data analysis
Key Requirements:
- Graduate / MBA preferred
- 3?7 years of experience in operations, apprenticeship programs, staffing, or HR services
- Prior experience in NAPS/NATS or skill development programs is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of compliance and government portals
- Excellent stakeholder and team management skills
