About the Role
The Assistant Manager MIS will be responsible for preparing, automating, and analyzing business reports that support decision-making across functions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to convert raw data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Management
- Develop, update, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel/VBA
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights
Data Management & Automation
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to maintain data integrity
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks using VBA and Excel-based solutions
- Assist in data consolidation from various sources including SQL and cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred)
Business Insights & Process Improvements
- Provide meaningful insights that enable informed business decisions
- Suggest improvements to existing reports, dashboards, and processes
- Support the development of new reporting frameworks based on business needs
Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in MIS/Data Reporting domains
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboards, DAX, data modeling)
- Advanced Excel & VBA skills with ability to build macros and automations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures)
- Exposure to AWS services (S3, Athena, Glue, Quick sight)
