Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India, for an Assistant Manager in the Merchant Banking division. The role involves supporting capital-raising activities by managing client relationships, preparing financial models, conducting thorough industry and company analysis, handling regulatory filings, and assisting in end-to-end execution of transactions. The Assistant Manager will work closely with senior management to deliver efficient services and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance related to SEBI and capital markets
- Financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities, including industry and company analysis
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in merchant banking, investment banking, or financial advisory is an added advantage
