Speciality Chemicals: The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.
We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established ‘partner of choice’ in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.

The Position
Organization: - Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd.
Designation: - Assistant Manager- Mechanical
Location: - Gajraula
Reporting To : Associate Director- Project Construction
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Assist in execution of greenfield and brownfield mechanical projects.
- Supervise erection and installation of static and rotary equipment such as reactors, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, pumps, compressors, agitators, etc.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, process, and utility teams.
- Study and review P&IDs, GA drawings, layouts, isometrics, and specifications.
- Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and contractor productivity.
- Piping & Structural Works
- Supervise fabrication and erection of process piping, utility piping, and pipe racks.
- Ensure proper supports, alignment, welding quality, and NDT activities.
- Coordinate hydro and pneumatic testing as per approved procedures.
- Oversee insulation, painting, and cladding works.
- Vendor & Contractor Management
- Assist in technical evaluation of vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment supply, inspection, and dispatch.
- Monitor contractor performance, safety compliance, and work quality.
- Verify BOQs, measurements, and contractor bills.
- Quality, Safety & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with project safety rules, SOPs, and permit systems.
- Follow QA/QC plans, ITPs, and documentation requirements.
- Commissioning & Handover
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and trial runs.
- Attend punch points and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain material tracking, site records, and change management documents.
- Support project review meetings and audits.
The Person
Qualifications & Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in project execution within chemical, fertilizer, pharma, refinery, or process industries
Personal Characteristics
Good interpersonal and people management skills.
Other Skills:
- Strong knowledge of static and rotary equipment
- Good understanding of piping engineering and site execution
- Familiar with codes and standards (ASME, IS, API)
- Project coordination and contractor management
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
