Role Description
As an Assistant Manager - Manufacturing at Umedica Laboratories, you will oversee and manage production activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vapi, Gujarat. Your responsibilities will include coordinating production planning, ensuring quality control measures are adhered to, managing day-to-day manufacturing operations, and supervising production teams to meet operational targets. You will also work closely with other departments to achieve production efficiency and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Competence in Production Planning and Production Management
- Strong expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management
- Proficiency in Quality Control procedures and practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industries is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
