Assistant Manager/ Manager to join the
Transaction Advisory Services team in our
Value360 practice.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance middle market companies and private equity investors
- Analyze historic and current financial information. Summarizing and analyzing financial/accounting information relating to income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, quality of earning, quality of net assets etc.
- Preparing Excel data books and analyzing revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities with the objective of identifying key issues such as normalized earnings, net debt, Liabilities, net working capital trends, valuation model input assumptions, analysis of forecasts etc.
- Preparation of due diligence reports highlighting key findings and presenting summary analysis
- Coordinating among various teams working on the engagement both in US and India
- Lead client and Target management calls, including kick-off calls, status updates, and management meetings (Manager)
- Willingness to maintain flexible working hours, when required, to ensure overlap with U.S. teams for management meetings and to facilitate smooth, timely hand offs to U.S. project leads
- Creating strong relationships with clients and Target management
- Identify deal issues, assessing their impact on the transaction (valuation) and advising on ways to address the issues.
- Understanding transaction structure and basis it advised on structuring
- Support Managers and Senior Managers in engagement delivery and deadline management; at the Manager level, independently manage engagement delivery with limited supervision
- Guide and review work performed by analysts and junior team members; at the Manager level, also mentor and coach Assistant Managers
- Conduct training sessions for analysts and senior associates on FDD methodologies, Databook preparation, and report writing best practices
- Serve as a primary point of contact for US engagement leads, proactively managing timelines, deliverables, and escalations (Manager)
Your Experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- 4-6 years (Assistant Manager) / 6–9 years (Manager) of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Services, Audit, or Accounting Advisory
- Qualified CA or MBA/PGDM in Finance from reputed institution
- Prior experience leading management calls and training junior team members preferred for Manager level
- Excellent accounting skills and strong understanding of financial statements
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliations, analytical schedules)
- Data Analytics knowledge
- Should be able to communicate with clients on the phone and email
- Ability to be flexible to work evening hours for internal calls and management meetings
- Demonstrated ability to lead calls, present findings to clients and investors, and mentor team members (Manager)
