Role - Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) & Talent Acquisition
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, business-focused, and people-oriented HR professional to partner with business leaders in driving key people initiatives across Human Resources Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employer Branding, and Organizational Effectiveness.
The role requires strong stakeholder management, execution excellence, analytical capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering impactful people solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across corporate & regional offices.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, campus hiring, and networking channels.
- Drive recruitment planning and ensure closure of positions within defined timelines and SLAs.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, salary discussions, and offer rollouts.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and high-volume positions.
- Coordinate internship and campus hiring programs with institutes and universities.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Track recruitment metrics such as TAT, offer-to-join ratio, hiring quality, source effectiveness, and cost optimization.
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to understand manpower, productivity, and organizational requirements.
- Drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and people strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and people matters.
- Support workforce planning, organization structuring, and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure smooth employee lifecycle management including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, engagement, and exits.
- Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives across stores, warehouses, and corporate teams.
- Conduct regular HR Connects, skip-level discussions, and employee touchpoints to proactively address concerns and improve employee experience.
- Support grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor attrition trends and implement retention strategies.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and compliance standards.
Talent Management & Performance Management
- Support implementation and execution of the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Coordinate goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and performance review discussions.
- Partner with managers on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP/PEP) and capability development initiatives.
- Facilitate talent review discussions, succession planning, and identification of high-potential talent.
- Support learning and development interventions aligned to business and capability requirements.
- Drive employee recognition and reward initiatives aligned with organizational values and performance culture.
Employee Engagement & New Joiner Experience
- Plan and conduct New Joiner Inductions and orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding and cultural integration.
- Work closely with managers to ensure structured functional induction and effective assimilation of new employees.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including town halls, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and engagement activities.
- Coordinate employee communication initiatives and HR campaigns across functions and regions.
- Strengthen employee experience across key touchpoints within the employee lifecycle.
HR Reports, Analytics & Review Presentations
- Prepare and publish HR MIS, dashboards, trackers, and analytical reports related to hiring, attrition, manpower, engagement, productivity, and employee movements.
- Create and present HR review decks and people insights during monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Track and analyze key HR metrics including TAT, onboarding status, attrition, productivity, and manpower utilization.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on HR analytics and trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
Employer Branding & Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- Support building and strengthening the organization’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across internal and external platforms.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position EasyBuy as an employer of choice within the retail industry.
- Collaborate on social media campaigns, recruitment branding, campus engagement, and employee success stories.
- Support creation of communication content, hiring campaigns, and branding initiatives aligned with organizational culture and values.
- Enhance candidate and employee experience to strengthen organizational reputation and engagement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 4–8 years of experience in HRBP and Talent Acquisition, preferably in Retail, Fashion, FMCG, QSR
- Strong understanding of HR Business partnering and Talent acquisition.
- Experience in performance management, talent reviews, employee engagement, and employer branding initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRMS platforms, and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
