Role Description : As an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international clients, delivering high-quality accounting services, and ensuring seamless finance operations across US and UK engagements. You'll work closely with global startups and high-growth businesses, leading end-to-end accounting processes while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous process improvement.
The role involves overseeing bookkeeping, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and management accounts, while ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and/or US GAAP. Depending on your level, you'll also mentor and develop team members, review deliverables, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to strategic initiatives such as financial modelling, business planning, fundraising, and M&A support.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, conduct bank reconciliations, and support statutory audits and tax filings.
- Skilled in preparing accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses within defined timelines.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the capability to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and contribute to process improvements in finance operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA Finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar finance and accounting role, preferably within consulting or professional services, is highly beneficial.
