Purpose and Scope
- To be Responsible for organising and execution of Dispatches of all export orders of the company at the right time and at the right cost.
- To be responsible for Compliance while following the rules and regulations of the Government agencies for execution or exports.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- To Plan and execute the Export orders manufactured by the company.
- Ensures Compliance is adhered to of all rules and regulations of Customs, EOU, DTA, VSEZ, DGFT etc.
- Overseeing the orders/contract management along with Legal and Management and others.
- Supports the Marketing teams and Business Development teams, ensuring our company products and services are offered within the legal framework with a Supportive and competitive advantage.
- Follows up Marketing and Business Development for outstanding payments as and when required
- Oversee getting clearances for export consignment, all pre-shipping and post-shipping documentation works
- Communication with Customers on all matters relating to Export Orders and its execution
- Verifies bills submitted by the logistics agencies and recommendations to Accounts for release of payment
- Reviews, monitors and assesses the performance of Logistics Agencies on pre- determined parameters with a view to optimise and rationalizing the base to improve efficiency and reduce/minimize the company's risks (commercial and contractual) exposure in terms of dependence.
- Exhibits ability to liaise with the customs/govt officials and ensures compliance on time.
- Liaise and negotiate with Freight forwarders, Liners, CHA regularly to arrange containers for export.
- Ensure timely import/export container arrangements, minimising the risk of demurrages and detentions at the port. Ensure relevant documentation
- Arranging the freight forwarding based on INCOTERMS and follows the supplier and Freight forwarder to get the documents for Customs clearance.
- Ensures 100% on time in full order fulfilment.
- Vendor/ Service provider, CFT and internal Team Management, people Management
- Keeps a track on the Finished goods ready for dispatch and follows up with key stakeholders to execute dispatches and avoids blockage of warehouses.
- Prepares Budget for the department and reviews its implementation.
- Conversant with the ERP system and adhere to it.
- Alerts the customer/sales team regarding the anticipated geopolitical conditions and pre-empts the supplies.
- Prepares MIS on regular basis and showcases the department’s performance.
- Should have exposure working in systems like BRCGS, ISO etc. and preferably a certified Internal auditor
