Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Assistant Manager Legal at John Distilleries Ltd. The Assistant Manager Legal will be responsible for preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, handling legal affairs, and providing consulting support on legal matters. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and align legal requirements with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge and expertise in Law and Legal Affairs
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Legal Consulting
- Experience with Legal Compliance and related processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient communication and negotiation skills
- LLB or equivalent qualification is required; a master's degree or relevant certifications in legal studies is an advantage
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to the alcoholic beverage industry is a plus
